Each event controls
- When the first pause starts
- Whether and how often it repeats
- How long cursor nudges stay paused
- How much earlier or later a pause can start
Current and next pause
KeepArc shows how many events are enabled, which pause is active, and which enabled event comes next.
Choose when KeepArc takes a break.

Use a clear label such as Coffee Break, Lunch, School Run, or Focus Block.

Start a pause a set time after you turn KeepArc on, or at a specific time of day.

Repeat the pause at an interval and optionally allow it to shift earlier or later.
After you turn KeepArc on
Count from when you turn KeepArc on.
For example, pause one hour after you turn KeepArc on, then repeat every hour.
At a set time
Start at a specific time of day.
Choose a time for lunch, a daily meeting, or another break. The start time does not depend on when you turned KeepArc on.

Each saved pause has its own start time, duration, and repeat settings.
Turn each pause on or off.
Keep a pause saved and enable it only when you need it.
Repeat interval
Choose how often a pause repeats, or leave repetition off to run it once.
Pause duration
Give a short coffee break and a longer lunch pause different durations.
Random shift
Let a pause start a little earlier or later. You choose how many minutes it can move in either direction.
Examples of pause schedules.
Hourly coffee break
Start one hour after you turn KeepArc on, repeat every hour, pause for five minutes, and allow a small random shift.
Lunch at a set time
Start around midday, pause for the length of lunch, and leave repetition off if it should happen only once per run.
Repeating breaks
Choose how often KeepArc should take a break and how long each break lasts.
Change the schedule without deleting it.
Saved events remain editable in KeepArc and can be enabled or disabled from more than one place.
Menu bar
Check how many pauses are enabled and turn saved pauses on or off from the menu bar.
Remote
From a browser you have approved for Remote, check the current and next pause and turn individual pauses on or off.
A pause that would end too early
KeepArc waits for inactivity before moving the cursor. If a one-time pause would end before cursor movement could start, KeepArc warns you so you can adjust the timing.
Questions about Pause Events.
Does a Pause Event turn KeepArc off?
No. It stops automatic cursor movements for the pause duration, then lets KeepArc continue with your settings.
How many events can I save?
Up to five named Pause Events.
Can events repeat?
Yes. Choose how often each pause repeats, or let it run just once.
Can I temporarily disable an event?
Yes. Turn it off and KeepArc will keep its name and schedule for later.
