Pause Events temporarily stop cursor nudges on a schedule, without making you turn KeepArc off and remember to start it again later.
Each event controls
- When the first pause becomes eligible
- Whether and how often it repeats
- How long cursor nudges stay paused
- How far timing may shift earlier or later
Visible status
KeepArc shows how many events are enabled, which pause is active, and which enabled event comes next.
Event timing
Start relative to activation or at a clock time.

Use a clear label such as Coffee Break, Lunch, School Run, or Focus Block.

Start after a chosen amount of time from KeepArc activation, or at a specific time of day.

Choose how long KeepArc should stop nudging the cursor when the event occurs.

Add repetition or variation
Repeat the pause at an interval and optionally allow it to shift earlier or later.
Relative timing
Follow the moment KeepArc starts.
A relative event is measured from activation. It works well for rules such as “pause one hour after I turn KeepArc on, then repeat every hour.”
Clock timing
Follow the time of day.
A clock-time event is useful for lunch, a daily meeting, or another break tied to your calendar rather than to activation time.
Options
Every event has its own behavior.
Changing one event does not force the others into the same schedule.
Independent enabled state
Keep an event saved while turning it on only on the days or sessions when you need it.
Repeat interval
Repeat future occurrences at the interval you choose. One-time events can stay non-repeating.
Pause duration
Give a short coffee break and a longer lunch pause different durations.
Random shift
Allow the planned start to move within a chosen plus-or-minus range instead of happening at exactly the same minute.

Hourly coffee break
Start one hour after activation, repeat every hour, pause for five minutes, and allow a small random shift.
Lunch at a clock time
Start around midday, pause for the length of lunch, and leave repetition off if it should happen only once per run.
Regular focus rhythm
Use a shorter repeating interval and a consistent pause duration to create a predictable work-and-break pattern.
Control and feedback
Change the schedule without deleting it.
Saved events remain editable in KeepArc and can be enabled or disabled from more than one place.
Menu bar
See the number of active events and quickly toggle saved events from the menu-bar popover.
Remote
An approved Remote browser can see event summaries, active and next-event state, and enable or disable individual events.
Configuration warning
KeepArc warns when a one-time pause could finish before the idle threshold allows cursor movement to begin, so the schedule can be adjusted before it silently has no effect.

Does a Pause Event turn KeepArc off?
No. It temporarily pauses cursor nudges for the event duration while keeping the rest of the configuration available.
How many events can I save?
Up to five named Pause Events.
Can events repeat?
Yes. Each event can repeat at its own interval, or remain a one-time occurrence.
Can I temporarily disable an event?
Yes. Disable it without removing its name, timing, duration, or random-shift settings.
